University networking at NAFSA: Association of International Educators Conference
VANCOUVER: The 63rd NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo was held in Vancouver from May 29 to June 3, attended on behalf of ACT by David Chadima, ACT’s newly appointed Director of International Group Activities, Gaye Pullyn, AES General Manager, and Andrew Todd, AES China Country Manager. NAFSA is the world’s largest non-profit professional association dedicated to international education. This year nearly 9,000 international education professionals from 120 countries attended the week-long conference.
High on the agenda for David, Gaye and Andrew was to meet with as many pathway and potential pathway universities as was possible over the week with the view to strengthening existing relationships and creating new ones. This objective was achieved and we hope to make some announcements in the near future. A dinner hosted by AES attended by university representatives gave further opportunity to discuss pathways for GAC students.
