Twenty GAC students graduate from Budi Mulia Dua International High School in Yogyakarta bound for Indonesia, the United States and Japan
June 2, Yogyakarta: Twenty GAC students have graduated from both the GAC program and National High School curriculum at Budi Mulia Dua International High School, broadening their options for university study.
Of the group, one has accepted a place at American University in Washington, USA and one has accepted an offer from Ritsumeikan University, Japan. The others are studying at Indonesian universities such as Airlangga University, Surabaya or Bandung Institute of Technology, Bandung – or waiting to hear the results of their applications.
When asked why she is in the GAC program, Sheila Ichsana, valedictorian of the graduates, said “I have been hearing a lot from my seniors that studying in the university requires advanced study load management and I am really glad that I am used to such load. I even learned the strategies for coping with my assignments in the program so it is surely very useful.”
Any Sulianti, the Director of Studies of the GAC program agreed, “Because the GAC students have to study two different curricula, they are the ones who academically excel at our school. We also have another high school stream that focuses only on doing the National Curriculum, but it is always the GAC students who score best in the National High School Examination.”
The graduates are intending on studying majors as diverse as Business, Development Economics, Biological Technology, and Community and Policy Studies.
ACT Education Solutions would like to congratulate the Budi Mulia Dua graduates and their teachers on their outstanding results.
